NIG, Inc (Nigerians In the Gap, Incorporated) is a nonprofit organization that was officially registered in the United States in 2017 and formally launched to fulfill its purpose in January 2020. The birth of NIG is a response to a mandate received by one of its founding members and unanimously embraced by all the foundation board members as a matter of conviction and necessity.

The organization was formed in order to help propel a sleeping giant, the country of Nigeria to its destiny through strategic intercession and interventions. As you may be aware, Nigeria is beleaguered by enormous and multifaceted problems.

Not that there is a lack of prayers and activities geared towards the nation of Nigeria. In fact, Nigeria is one of the most religious countries in the world and possesses a dynamic force of citizens in the Diaspora and within who are committed to its betterment through various individual and organizational endeavors.

However, the mandate of NIG, Inc is unique and compelling and is considered as another critical component of the ultimate strategy to position Nigeria in its rightful place amongst world nations.

Based on obvious perceptions, most people, including Nigerians and non-Nigerians are very pessimistic about the prospects of the country. Be that as it may, NIG understands the realities of the Nigerian society, her history and daily occurrences.

But, we strongly believe and are convinced that with the right strategies pursued with the right intent and attitudes, the Nigerian nation can and will change and become a prosperous and wholesome state.
